Walking onto the America’s Got Talent stage would be intimidating for almost anyone.
For 12-year-old Annie Jones, the moment was even bigger.
The young singer had traveled all the way from Melbourne, Australia, for an opportunity to perform in front of Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel.
When Sofia asked if she was nervous, Annie didn’t pretend otherwise.
She admitted that she was.
But those nerves didn’t last very long.
Because once the music started, the shy young girl standing in front of the judges seemed to disappear.

For her audition, Annie chose “Dance Monkey,” the worldwide hit by fellow Australian artist Tones and I.
